Record-Breaking Sale in Renton

April began with my new listing in Renton at 2523 Lynnwood Ave NE, and May saw the record-breaking sale of this same home. The house itself has a beautiful, classic craftsman design and the property is situated on a large lot that connects to a private green belt. This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath arrived on the market at $660,000 on March 31st, but moved straight to pending only 5 days later! Despite being one of the smaller homes in the Highlands Community, we set a record breaking price. After reviewing the 6 offers on the home, we accepted one for $70,000 above the asking price at $730,000.

Current Seattle real estate trends are pointing to lightning speed turnaround times for active listings, and I can only imagine this will continue to speed up as we head into the busy season for real estate.
